Heritage Interiors Leadership

Scott Mackie
General Manager

Scott Mackie is the general manager of Akima subsidiaries Heritage Interiors and Talu. He is responsible for leading a team of professionals that deliver comprehensive Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) and Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) solutions to the federal government. Scott has achieved significant year-over-year growth and excellent performance evaluations from customers (CPARs) through the development of actionable, cost effective strategies, as well as applying high organizational standards and ethical business practices. Under his leadership, Talu consistently ranks as the #1 service provider in the industry out of more than 700 competitors.

Prior to joining the Akima portfolio of companies, Scott launched and managed the growth of a general contracting firm in the mid-Atlantic region for more than two decades, with annual revenues ranging from $3M to $8.9M. Scott holds a business degree from James Madison University and works out of Heritage Interior’s Herndon, VA, headquarters.
